This is the last book(to date) in the Corbin Series, and I loved it. Melissa Corbing is a runaway bride. She is spirited, full of life and totally turns Quinn Rafferty's life upside down. The book is funny, sad and totally heart warming. A must read for Miller fans and especially if you have read the other three in the Corbin series.

This book was very similar to the first book I read by Brenda Cole, which is a good thing. It just proved that I really do enjoy her as an author. This was the story of a girl who moves to a ranch when her father remarries. She gets a stepsister in the bargain who turns out to be a great friend. As she deals with the changes she learns to be happy where she is. She also manages to get over the boyfriend she was heartbroken to leave behind. I definitely enjoyed this one!

Melissa was immature, annoying and beyond stubborn. I completely commiserated with Quinn having to deal with her dramatics. I enjoyed Quinn's passionate nature but how he endured Melissa's behavior was unbelievable. Most men would have dropped girls like that like a hot potato. Promising story line but fell way short of a satisfying read. Two stars.

Melissa- head-strong, willful, always wants to have things her way.
Quinn - self made riches, running from his past, use to having things his way.

Two characters to really like as they work their way through life with love, passion, humor, conflict and a twist. Ms Miller at her best.

I thought this book was ok. The story line was original which was nice and I liked the womens lib aspect. Overall though it was forgetful. It was an easy read but there wasn't much to take away from it.
