Wonderful in depth guide to stars and planets. It includes some beautiful pictures and detailed star charts and sky maps. Covers all there is to know from properties of planets to the mythology of constellations to history making astronomers and how to become one yourself. It's a great book for anyone who is really interested in the sky we live under.
