Woohoo! I graduated from college Saturday afternoon. I don't feel any different though... LOL In some ways I am glad that it's over, but at the same time it's a little weird. I have been going to school since I was 5 years old, and it seems strange to be done. BUT, I am still going back next semester for one class, Arabic II. I LOVED my Arabic class and the teacher is letting me come back and sit through the next class for free. Of course I don't get credit for it, but I am just thrilled that he is letting me do that. I don't ever want to stop learning!

Jennifer, major congratulations! it is a beautiful achievement.  Learning for a curious mind never stops, the format just changes.  If my own experience serves, it will take some time to transition into the 'real world' from  academia...and then the pleasure of pursuing information on a topic simply because it interests you will be yours!

Congrats! I know that when I graduated I was glad that I could finally start reading what I wanted instead of what I HAd to read. Not that my taste wasn't completely changed after college. I still tend to read those books that I read whiel I was in college.

That is awesome!  You may not feel different except for that huge sense of relief that you no longer have to spend hours at a time buried under textbooks.  Instead you can be buried under books of your choice :)

Congratulations, Jennifer!  I wish you luck in your future endeavors!  Let us know what you plan on doing.

I too love going to school.  If I could afford to, I'd be a professional student.  There's just so much out there to learn!
