I'd like to see how many other copies are available of the books I have on my shelf, but I don't see a way to do it. My RL shows those numbers, but I don't want to put all my posted books on my RL just to find out!

putting the books on your reminder list is the only way to find out how many copies of a book are in the system.

We're going to be losing the RL, aren't we? I wonder how we'll do it then.

the ones on your wishlist hold will be the same as the reminder list and you can see them from there

Yep-- putting the title on your Reminder List is the only way (that I'm aware of...).

When (or before) I put books on my shelf, I like to know how many copies there are in the system.  If there are forty-seven million copies, I'll usually try to take them to the UBS.

That's one of the nice things about the current reminder list.  I hope that, when the new wish list goes into effect, we have some way to find out the number of books in the system, other than putting them on our wish lists.  Otherwise, I think lots of us will put books on our wish lists to get the information, then take them back off again.  Sounds like that will be confusing.
