I just bought and read this book, and I really enjoyed it! Lots of truth in it about how "Christians" push away new believers by being so holier than thou.

Looks interesting. I'm here to tell you I'm a sinner like everybody else! I can't stand the "shame on you" and "I can't beleive you do this being a christian" stuff.  People may have one or two issues but maybe they started out with 10 and they are working on themselves. There was a lady who smoked cigarettes but she previously had been saved from a life of drugs, sexual promiscuity, stealing....puts her change into perspective...

As long as we are all on the road toward improving our lives and developing a better relationship with Christ that is what is important....we just have to realize we are all at different points in our journey.  The thing that everyone of us has to realize is that just as we were babes and then children and so on as we grew to adulthood we needed the guidance of our parents and even in adulthood we seek guidance of those with more knowlege the same is true in our spiritual journey we need the guidance of those with more experience, more knowledge....no one knows it all but, everyone has someone that has more experience, more knowledge.

Those providing guidance need to do so with love...Love is the key!!!

Absolutely. It's not about what you do wrongly...it's about what you learn from it and how you handle it later.

When a person with their heart comes to Christ, there should be some transformation that is seen by all.  Some will say they are in the faith but are not.  Be a fruit inspector and test and try the spirit and see if they be of the Lord.  The Lord said there will be alot of people out there professing to be in the faith but are not.  And yes, there are baby christians, teen christians and adult or should I say mature christians.  How will you know what stage their in? By being a fruit inspector.  And on the same wave your fruit will also be inspected.  Because once you become a Christian you are under a microscope by Christians and non-christians alike.  What comes out of you when your squeezed? Just please be a fruit inspector and don't be an announcer of what you think to everyone including the world.  Everyone will know what  a person is or isn't by their words and behavior..  The body of Christ is just that a body and when one hurts the whole body hurts.  We as the body are to lift up, encourage, rebuke and exhort.  But do so to one another as the Lord says and don't blast another Christian.
