And it was AMAZING! Does anyone have anything good to recomend? also im looking to trade DEAD and GONE(the 9th book) for something new. (If you dont have anything let me know if you just want to trade it for a credit and a recomendation.) PM if interested I'm just out of entertaing things to read i think =(

You should probably ask about this in the Paranormal forum.  Charlaine Harris isn't Fantasy.

There is a thread up for that book in the Paranormal section...though I have to say I think paranormal is just a subgenre of fantasy.

Paranormal is definately a subgenre of fantasy. 

More authors are writing cross genre and it does get a bit hard for the reader to pigeon hole the stories.

Originally paranormal books were romances with a fantasy element - so it is definitely a subgenre.  You'll find many threads answering your question in the Paranormal forum, though. :)

(The spines on all the Sookie paperbacks say Fantasy Mystery, so I can absolutely see why the OP posted the question here.)

I just received my first Sookie Sackhouse mystery. I am unsure as to whether Charlaine Harris' series is fantasy, mystery, or paranormal.....but I can't wait to read it as I have heard so much about them!
