My son absolutely adores this book! The "ding, ding", "clang, clang" and "hurry, hurry" parts always get him excited! Some of his first phrases came from this book. The illustrations are beautiful, with antique firetrucks from the era that the book was first written. This one is going on the keeper shelf for future grandchildren after my son outgrows it.
