Anyone here read this one yet?  I am in the middle, and am curious what others think of it?

I liked it better than Graceling. I thought Fire was a great character. Some stuff at the end got on my nerves, but overall I liked her. It's been a little while since I read it, but if I remember correctly, I enjoyed the worldbuilding and the monsters and such.  I am looking forward to the next book, Bitterblue when it comes out.

I also liked Fire better than Graceling.  My one beef with the book was the character who appears in both novels - he seemed somewhat unneccessary to the plot of Fire and with some good rewriting he could have been axed all together (and the things he did caused could have been brought about in another way).

Though the relationships in Fire would fit well in a soap opera. :)
