This was a great book. I did not want to put it down. This is book 13 in a long line of Troubleshooters books. I would suggest reading "Flashpoint" (book # 7) and "Hot Target" (#8) before this one as both books play a part in this one. The characters of "Into the Fire" have to face past events from "Flashpoint" and "Hot Target". Murphy's story in this books starts in "Hot Target" so if you only read one book for backstory make it that one.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! It was a long book (578 pages) and every single page kept me interested. I have read many of this author;s books and this particular series and they are all very good reads, however, this book just blew me away! I highly recommened it!
From the back cover: Vinh Murphy, onetime operative for the elite security firm Troublshooters Inc., has never forgiven the neo-Nazi Freedom Network for the death of his wife. Now, years later, the group's leader has been murdered-and the FBI suspects that Murphy may have pulled the trigger. Murphy can't be sure what he did while drinking himself blind in his grief, but the one person he's always been able to turn to is Hannah Whitfield, and it's at her doorstep he finds himself again. The only way he'll survive is with her help-and that of his old Troubleshooters friends-but can he stand seeing another woman he loves put at risk?

Suzanne Brockman has written another romantic thriller that will keep you turning pages well into the night. There is lots of romance between seemingly unlike partners along with lots of suspense. I really loved this book.
Love this series and this book is no exception!
Another great book from suzzane brockman very riveting hard to put down
love suz's stuff. this one is great!
A good story with enough action to keep you reading. One of the main characters is deaf, but the author didn't research the deafness very well, and it is awkward at times, but not so much that the average reader would notice. The tragedy that brings the two main characters together is a bit beaten to death (do we have to rehash it every-other chapter?) but a nice ending that is worth the read.
I really really liked Vinh Murphy's story. Though to be perfectly honest it wasn't just Murphy's story. There were quite a few parallel stories going on: Izzy and Eden, Dave, Decker and Sophia, Tess and Nash, and the shrink messing with all of them. Murphy went through hell and survived. What a story that was. Eden's young life has been torture and abuse but she survived. Sophia's in love with Decker and he's oblivious. Dave's in love with Sophia and she's oblivious. Nash is having serious Black Ops issues that he's keeping from his wife Tess. It's totally FUBAR, as the SEALs say.
I've only read a couple of books in this series so I should have been completely lost but I wasn't. I'm sure I missed some important personal issues between the Troubleshooters but it wasn't hard to pickup the story at book 13 and know exactly what's going on. I can't wait to get may hands on the next book Dark of Night.

I've read all of the other Suzanne Brockmann books and enjoyed each story. This book took me a while to get into because it seemed to start out a little slow, but it was well worth the read!
It had been a long time since I had read the other books in the series, so it was difficult to remember each "story" when all of the old characters came in to the action. But, I did like that she brought all the old characters back into this book.
There's also a new story brewing with Izzy that I hope she keeps going.
Overall, if you like the Troubleshooters series, you'll love this book - I couldn't put it down once I got into it - had to see what was going to happen next.
