This book is superb. Saberhagen's skillful narration makes the story very engrossing. One of the finest works in the genre.
First in the series of the "Sword" books. Each of the twelve swords forged by Vulcan has a special power...and a special weakness. Magic and fantasy, and a plot that contains many surprises.
A very intriguing read, and unique! Unlike any other fantasy author I've ever read.
