I have a son who missed the official birthdate for starting school, so I have to find him books on my own.

He is reading on a first grade level (went through testing) and I'm looking for deals on the little "I Can Read" etc books. I can't afford to buy books from Scholastics, and it's physically difficult to visit the library too often. --He soars through books!

Does anyone have deals going on for these beginning readers? It doesn't have to be any specific series/publisher, just something to feed him so he doesn't get bored with reading.

I have several Winnie the Pooh books on my shelf that may be appropriate.  I would be willing to do all of them for one credit.  PM if interested.  Thanks.

I have three great books for this level.  They are from the Step Into Reading Series and two of them are listed as grade 1-3 and a third is listed as grade 2-3.  I used them with my own son a few years back.  You are welcome to have all three for 1 credit.  I would be thrilled if they found a new home with your son.  The titles are:

Hungry, Hungry Sharks

Finding the Titanic

Check them out on my shelf.

I have several children's books on my shelf and will be adding more.  My son is in 3rd grade so everything that I have is younger.     The listed books include Clifford and Franklin.    I can do 3-for-1.  These books are justing sitting here waiting for a new home.

If there are any books on my bookshelf that you can use, just PM me the titles and I'll see what I can do.
