My sister is home schooling her son this year. He is in 5th grade and she still needs Science and History books. Can anyone tell me what she needs.  If so could you please pm me. Thanks Gloria

Hi there! 

For History:  We have had a lot of enjoyment in Susan Wise Bauer's series - Story of the World.  There's Ancient Times, Middle Ages and Early Modern Times.  Any of those would be appropriate for an elementary student.

And be sure to check Susan's message board where they swap curriculum in all subjects at very affordable prices.

For Science:  We're using A Beka's Science this year and Apologia's as well.  You can get A beka books on paperbackswap and I got my Apologia ones on ebay less than retail.
