My library was having a 'Box of Books for $5' sale this weekend and I went searching for some books to beef up my shelf a bit. Having heard that Large Print books are often in demand, I grabbed a few of those and have posted them. However, since posting them, I realized that two of them are not showing up as Large Print. My guess is that the ISBN has been reused. So what do I do to fix it?

I would do some research -- check out the ISBN on Amazon and see what it says. If it appears that the ISBN # is indeed for a large print book, then submit an book data edit (Under "more options " on the ISBN book description page. If it appears that the ISBN # has been reused, then delete your current listing and list the book using the "List without an ISBN" option  and make sure you include (Large Print) in the title.

Before submitting a data edit, please do a bit of research. An edit will not be approved if all you find is Amazon lists it as a LP, try an internet search to show that it isn't offered as a regular print anywhere. If the approver finds one other site that offers it as a regular print book, the edit would not be approved unless maybe in an instance where there were no other copies ever posted into the system.

You wouldn't have to relist them as a book without an ISBN. Regular print books cannot be posted to a listing marked as LP, but I've seen no rules going the other way. I equate it to Mass Market Paperback and Paperback - a trade size cannot be posted to a MMP listing, but both are OK being posted to the Paperback listing. It would make your book more noticeable to those searching for LP books if you did set them up as a book without an ISBN though. You can also put a post in the Bazaar listing the books you have that are LP.

Thanks, Sally and Melanie. I've done a Google search outside of Amazon and they're coming up as Large Print books on other sites. So I guess I'll submit an edit to the pair of them and see if it takes.

EDIT - I submitted my edits. How will I know if they are approved? Will I get a message or should I just double check the date when the books get requested?

If the edit request is denied, you will get a PM letting you know why it was denied. If the edit is approved you probably won't hear anything, you would just see the listing change.
