Hello!

I am getting ready to start my first year teaching in a few weeks and I need to build my classroom library.  I will be teaching 2nd grade, so I am looking for series books like, Horrible Harry, Cam Jenson, Junie B. Jones, Authur, Amber Brown, Magic Tree House and so on.  My team also does author studies on Kevin Henkes, Patricia Polaaco, and Eve Bunting. I do not have a lot of credits, so I am looking for deals. If you can help please post here or PM me! Thanks

~Sarah

I'd love to help you out, but I have my account on vacation hold for the next 2 weeks. If you don't mind waiting till I get back I'll see what we can work out. If you have any preK or Kindergarten level books, maybe we can work out a super sweet "deal". I'm also gonna be looking for good deals on books while on vacation, if I find any that you mentioned at a good deal (yard sale etc) I'll let you know first.

I just found out that there might be a teacher leaving at our Christian school and was told to "hold on" that there may be something for me besides subbing this year. :-)

That sounds good to me, I'll be more prepared for the classroom and so I may have more specific things to look for! Thanks so much!

Be sure to post your same post in Book Bazaar, also.  I have found that if you let people know the books are for your classroom, they will often offer you a deal.  I've even had people go onto my wishlist and send me one of the books for my classroom.

Good luck!

Sara,

I have tons of primary stuff that I'd like to get rid of. Its going to take me a little bit to list everything because I am in the process of unpacking from moving but I will try to ASAP. OI don't think I have any of those specifically but lots of 2nd grade stuff.

I read on a teacher forum that alot of the Dollar General stores are having a clearance and people are getting some books for 10 cents or so. Its about 90 percent off I think they said.
