Name: Matthew Benson, art critic
projet: Tie onoe oldfashioned virile male to the end of a 10 foot rope and attach a newfangled, voluptuous woman other end oh, and no touching.
A story of an artist and an art critic who find that they are not as far apart as they think they are. While some parts of the story are silly, the part that deals with friction in a relationship due to different habits tends to be realistic. (Smoker vs. non-smoker, neat freak vs. slob, exercise buff vs. couch potato, early riser vs. late sleeper, etc.)
Jenny Smith and Matthew Benson couldn't be more different and VIVA Le Difference!!!
Jenny Smith thought magazine critic Matthew Benson belonged in the Neanderthal era. Hadn't he written that women's equality was a dead issue? But she had a plan. All they had to do was tie themselves to opposite ends of a rope for thirty days without touching, and she would show him that the sexes could be separate but equal.
Matthew Benson thought Jenny Smith's ideas were outrageous. She even believed a man should do his own laundry! Still he finally agreed to her project, certain their time together would change her mind. But instead he found himself hoping there was a chance their temporary ties could become permanent.
