"Captures the excitement of fossil hunting, the frustration of challenging established authority, and the sheer delight of scientific pursuit."
- From back cover

Generally, the book was very interesting, especially the first few chapters. Some parts were a little too technical for me as the book is not intended to be an introduction to the subject. Despite this fact, I still managed to learn a great deal on the subject.

Just don't ask me the differences between Africanus, Afarensis, and Anamensis.
