I finished this book and posted it on Sunday night -- it's on the 48 hour wait list, with only one wisher.  I thought it was a fun, fast read.  Thought there might be a few people in this forum who might like to add it to their wishlist.  I can't wait for the 2nd book to come out.

I'm reading it right now! it is pretty good. I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought it and I've been pleasantly surprised.  I'm only about 1/3 of the way in and I can hardly put it down...totally wanted to call in sick to work to finish it. lol! can't wait to take my lunch and read it!

do you know when the second book comes out?

P.S.  hannah - nice to see you  make it over here.  (You are the person who was referred here from Hidden gems, right?  I'm not imagining that, am I?)

I was surprised by the ending -- but glad it wasn't a predictable finish like so many books.  Looking forward to mover of Liberty Lane's adventures.

I finished A FOREIGN AFFAIR yesterday on a flight going home from visiting my parents.  (i wasn't too upset with the delay....to defrost the plane.....it gave me more time to read!  LOL!)  The novel is a wonderful blend of history  (victorian England) and adventure ( a young woman is asked by secret agents to pose as a governess to gather information) and Liberty Lane is a endearing heroine...I'm looking forward to reading the next book!.

A FOREIGN AFFAIR has also been published under the name of DEATH AT DAWN.  The second book, DEATH OF A DANCER was released in June of 2008.  The third book A DANGEROUS AFFAIR will be released on Jan. 27, 2009. I'm looking forward to reading them all!
