I liked Forever Midnight for the most part.

Silver Cuffs by Hill was the best. It was predictable, but it was a nice story of redemption, faith and love. 4 stars

Shadow-Time Lover by Casteel was bad. I hated the writing and I didn't like the heroine. 2.5 stars

A Matter of Duty by Jewell was strange. It's a sequel to a story that seems to no longer be published, but the author gave enough of a background story so I wasn't too lost. The characters seemed genuine and I could empathize with the heroine. I don't know what I would do if I were in her shoes, but it was handled well, I guess. It was weird. 3.5 stars
