I couldn't put this book down! So gripping but yet as I read it, I was dreading each next step taken. Doomed from the start, the combination of poor planning, lack of coordination, too many egos, and most importantly terrible weather. Of course there are many more factors at play here too. In the end it is just very sad. One of the things that really stuck with me is that the author interviewed the survivors all these years later. And it did/will affect them for the rest of their lives.
