This is the second book in the second set of series (Firstborn) with the Baxter Family. There are three sets of series:

Redemption Series (5 books)
Firstborn Series (5 books)
Sunrise Series (4 books)

In addition, the Above the Line Series by Karen Kingsbury also includes the Baxter family.

I have found these books are not good stand alone books as the ending always leaves a little suspense for the reader that only the future books in the series will help answer.

In this novel, both main characters from Fame (1st book of Firstborn series) are still at the forefront and questions are still left unanswered as to the direction Katy and Dayne will take whether in their own relationship or those with others. The Baxters are still in the background and updates given in their individual lives. I love this entire series and look forward to moving along in the books.

This is an author that can hold your attention! The story of a family and their ability to overcome the trials of life through their faith in God. I enjoyed reading this series and do recommend it!

This was the first book that I read by Karen Kingsbury and I enjoyed it very much. The style of writing and the story line. I look forward to continuing to read this series.

I neeeded this book to continue the Firstborn series. I loved it, as I did the others. Karen Kingsbury is a wonderful Christian author. I'm sad that I've completed the series now.
