Very good book, a little different from Ms. Loring's usual, in that it takes place in a small town in Arizona instead of on the east coast. Good story line, although the characters could have been a little better developed. A story of adult greed and generosity, danger and safety for a small child, and the typical small town helpers and gossip. A good story of contrasts.
