In the forum there is a section labeled, "Discussion by Genre".  Does anyone know why there isn't a general non-fiction section or a history section?  That's mostly what I read and I would like to discuss.  Is it just a question of asking for it and getting it or was it there and removed for lack of interest, etc.

Thanks

There is a Historical Fiction forum, and as I recall, there's generally Historical non-fiction discussions going on there too.

I think we had a history last round, and it never got used. Can't remember if there was a general non-fiction or not, but I kinda think there was that one too. Several unused topics got replaced with requested ones back in the spring.

Im pretty sure we had both and they never got used so they were removed.

Well that makes sense.  I didn't want to rant and rave about their not being here if they had benn and were removed for lack of interest.

Thanks

Mike, if you want to start a non fiction discussion in the Historical Fiction section, go to CMT and invite people down to join.  That's what Sherry did in the TEch and Science Forum.  We're talking about gardening stuff down there and every once in a while we remind the folks in CMT to join us.  Just a thought........

Definitely come visit the historical fiction forum! We're happy to talk about any books. We all love HF, but we all read a lot of history along with it.
