I'm able to post just fine right now in Firefox, but when I was using IE a few minutes ago, clicking on "Discussions" crashed it twice.

No problems in IE7 or 8 for me so far today.

I'm using IE 8 and it is working fine for me.  Are you still trying to work in IE6?  I had a few problems with the forums here before I updated.

Make sure to turn off signatures and blinkies too. Some of them will cause crashes and hangs.

I am using IE and have all the signatures and stuff turned on.  Have never had a problem with it crashing.

I'm using IE and my window crashes 3 times before I can move to the next page -- this was even without logging in so I saw no signatures.

It's not just the forums either, sometimes just going to my account page or browsing causes it to crash over and over again.

The last few days when I'm using IE7, I've been having problems with this site.  I usually end up freezing up and shutting down my computer.  When I get back into this site, I try to remember to use Firefox.

I'm on IE7 and have had the same problem with locking up over and over for at least a week. I haven't even dared "waste" my connected moments to come to the forums and check anything until now that I'm caught up, just hurried to try to complete my business when I was able.

I had problems with IE before the changes - it would freeze and I would have to close the browser(s) and reopen.  I didn't have any problems with firefox until the changes  (when I was using IE- I used - IE7 and 8.   IE 6 worked prior to the upgrade)..  There are two issues I am experiencing With FireFox - after changes

  1. When browsing the forums I am automatically sent to the bottom of the page .... NO surprise - everyone with FF seems to be experiencing this.
  2. This evening I was browsing the help docs on FF and certain pages were blank. When I used IE I didn't have any problems.

Maybe they tried to fix compatibility issues with IE and ended up breaking FF???  Just my thoughts.

Been having the lock out problem for about a month. Just downloaded and installed Firefox. Will see if there is a difference

I had to download  Firefox today because IE won't allow me to do links ever since we've gotten the new top tool bar from PBS.
