We are working on a solution to the automatic scrolling to the botttom of the page.

In the mean time, we've added a "Go to Top" button above the editor to help ease your pain.

OH good.  I can't read half the posts on IE but then Firefox does the bottom of the page thing.  Can't decide which is more annoying.

I'm on IE and having no problems seeing any of it and haven't had the bottom of the page problem either.

Thank you!  I'm kinda getting used to the bottom of the page thing but it'll be nice when it's fixed.

As far as I'm concerned, they can keep the "Go to Top" button and I"d be very happy.  I'd still want the jumping around fixed, though! ;D

I'll be glad when it's fixed too...I checked in from work yesterday where they use IE and it wasn't happening, only with firefox here at home. Annoying as all getout!

I am at work now on IE - much nicer but I miss firefox.  I was sea sick and my eyes were crossing, that I gave up and went and read - hmmmm - is there something wrong with that statement?

Yay.  My finger was getting tired of scrolling & goodness knows I shouldn't have to exercise while veging at the computer:P

Thanks Len -- I remember this happening a while ago when the discussion forum formats were tweaked, and you all fixed it in short order.

Wish they'd add a "go to bottom" button at the top of the page.

for keyboard users, HOME brings you to the top of the forum; END brings you to the bottom.

On the laptop I can read everything clearly on IE.  It's only on the Desk top that I have a problem.  Of course the Y key is broken on the laptop which makes it hard to post sometimes.  I have to be creative and come up with substitute words that don't need a "y".

Lens,

It is still doing it for me after shutting down FF and doing a hard refresh.  Any suggestions?

It is not fixed for me either but for some reason when I am not logged in and look at the forums the pages don't jump.

same here - also in IE when you click in the text body - the first character drops or should say isn't recognized.  it takes a couple of seconds for the cursor to appear.  Sorry

I am not as familiar with fire fox - is there a cache we can clear like in IE?

never mind - found it - also logged out of PBS- cleared and loged back in by typing paperback swap not using my links.

ok - this is weird it happens every so often now.

I logged out - logged back in  - typed paperbackswap.com.  Logged in, then instead of using my links I click on the community tab then I clicked on discussions -  went to cmt -clicked on a thread - didn't drop - then I went to community/disscussions and naviaged to Q&A and then clicked on this thread -didn not drop. I am now going to repeat it with existing links.

testing

it is now working for me - using links or navigating.

I don't know if this helps - if I post then I start dropping again.  even if I go back to the main page of the forum if I click on  a thread it will drop....if I navigate away com back it doesn't drop and if I surf open threads and don't respond - I am fine.   I still would head home - we can survive.
