This book is great from the first page until the last. It is a true thriller. It is the first book I have read from this author, but I think I will be looking for more. If you are a mystery fan, this book is for you!
Read several years ago -- Grippando just isn't one of my favorite authors.
Could not put this book down. The story twists and turns...the ending is a surprise.
She opens a package that came in the mail and finds thousands of dollars.Where did it come from? A parent dies, and right before he does he tells his son there is 1 and 1/2 million dollars in the attic.
Loved this book. Shows just how greedy even the most normal people can get when faced with a moral dilemma.
Try this if you like John Grisham.
A terrific thriller, great characters, lots of twists in the plot -- couldn't put it down!
Single mother Amy Parkens feels trapped by a boring job, low pay, and no time for her young daughter. But that's before $200,000 in cold hard cash arrives in an unmarked box. Desperately needing the money, Amy fears a setup, or a connection to her mother's suicide twenty years earlier. So she sets out to find the source. Was it a dream or a nightmare?
Excellent suspense book. Like all of James Grippando books it keeps you guessing.
Great book. Didn't want to put down.
A young woman finds $200,000 in cash in a cardboard box delivered to her door. A young man inherits a fortune from a father who died "penniless" Amy Parkens and Ryan Duffy have never met, but they are about to, as each discovers that found money can be a godsend=or a nightmare.
Excellent! Could hardly wait to get back in the car so I could hear more...
