I'm sorry I can't write a full review, but I did not finish this book. I had a hard time getting interested, even took the book on vacation so I could devote some time to it, but it never clicked for me. The author, who is English, decides to visit Alaska, a boyhood fantasy, and drags along his wife and two very young sons. I only got as far as his first dog mushing experience. Better luck to you!
