Get a job? Fox hopes it won't come to that. But Mom insists it's the only way he'll get a new bike. So Fox saunters off, determined to seek his fortune.
Fox sees a Help Wanted sign in a shoe-store window. "Help is here!" he says to the store owner. Soon he's stacking shoes and thinking that work is a breeze. But when a woman with huge feets wants "pretty little pink shoes," it's more than one fox can handle. Next Fox flunks out collecting tickets at the amusement park's Haunted House, and delivering pizza is a disaster. Our hero better think fast to find a job that suits a strutting fox just right.
Beginning readers will laugh out loud as the jaunty star of the five previous Fox books returns in James Marshall's most delectable Easy-to-Read yet.
