Hello Everyone! i am not a regular poster on the forums here, but I am an avid swapper. I thought I would let you know about my free creative writing lesson plans. I write books for homeschoolers—Eat Your Way Around the World, Geography Through Art with Sharon Jeffus, and The Adventures of Munford series.  I am now offering free creative writing lesson plans on my website. The plans were written just for homeschoolers, so they are easily adaptable for different age groups, experience levels, and time frames. I will be adding more throughout the summer, so I hope to have a steady supply by the fall. You can subscribe to my RSS feed to be updated when new plans are added! My website is www.jamiearamini.com.

Thanks, Jamie!

May we post this information on other HS'ing boards?

BTW, we have "Eat Your Way..." checked out from our library right now :-).  DS is LOVING cooking - he's 10!  He's also a reluctant writer who's finally coming around.  He's more of a math & science kid, but he says he's "coming into a new period of doing composition."  So your post is just in time!

JC

Wow Jamie, what a small world. The Jeffus Family used to do workshops in our area until Mr. J was trgically killed. Are they still doing the workshops, they were wonderful? I do hope the family is doing well. I also have heard Boddie V. speak. He's amazing.

Thanks for the free lessons, I will pass it along locally.

I'm pretty sure that Ms. Jeffus still does the workshops on her own. She also teaches art classes at the Bass Pro museum in Springfield, MO. You can check out her website for updates at www.visualmanna.com. I have never attended one of her workshops, but I hear that they are great. It was definitely a privilege to get to work on her book. Enjoy the lessons and don't forget that I'll be adding more. :)
