This is my first time posting here so I didn't know if anyone knows about this.  A friend on Library Thing told me about this free lend and borrow Kindle books site.  Amazon allows you to loan your books one time even the ones you've previously gotten for free. You just have to list some of your kindle books and you can borrow books for 2 weeks.  I've gotten some books there that have been on my waiting list for a long time and they're in the middle of a series so I really wanted to read them.

Have you guys had good luck with pixel of ink? I have heard that it's free ebooks, but... I am always leery about going to unknown websites that sound too good to be true.   *yes, i'm worried about viruses and malware and such*

Aside from that, I haven't ever actually hooked my kindle to my computer. Is it easy to load books? *or, since I can get online via my kindle, is it easier to go there from the kindle directly?*

I use it DAILY, no problems at all.

I have downloaded one or two books, but I get their e-mail every day.  No problems here!
