She was born at Plattsburgh Air Force Base, spending most of her childhood on the move as an army brat. She studied acting and history at Ithaca College, and received her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. I just read the first book in this series (at the recommendation of Les) and REALLY enjoyed it. Good writing, lots of twists and turns, a bit of romantic tension. I was also thrilled to learn that Julia Spencer-Fleming lives in Maine, my home state. Makes a girl proud. :)
