I've a patron who is wanting free erotica, was given an ereader for an early Mothers Day gift and now wants to fill it :)

Her favorite author of that genre is Shayla Black.

Free is best but is willing to pay around $3.

Which eReader?

Free Kindle stuff is listed at...

http://www.ereaderiq.com/

or

http://ctrlq.org/amazon/ebooks/

or

http://us.kinlib.com/

are just a few I use to find Kindle freebies. Erotica is ususally mixed in both, altho ereaderiq should be able to sort for them. They have 'flags' to mark inappropriate ones, so if you're into the hard stuff, get there early before they get flagged. Kogrid has descriptions, but no covers shown for Erotica. The other site I've not browsed much at yet.

Also, there are indy sites that offer freebies.

All Romance (no DRM, IIRC)

http://www.allromanceebooks.com/category180.html

(Various formats)

Ellora's Cave (don't think DRM'd, Forgot which formats they support)

http://www.jasminejade.com/c-115-free-read-ec.aspx

Smashwords (No DRM, Various formats, need to search them out)

http://www.smashwords.com/books/category/1/newest/0/free/any

Then they'll probably want the DRM-less epub files if they're shopping away from Barnes and Noble. There's also Nook ebook loaning sites to check out.

Both Ellora's Cave and Samhaim offer at least two freebies a month.  Usually slightly older books. They are all available at ARe and at B&N.  But you need to find the titles.  Samhain lists them on the side of their website and on their Facebook page.   Books on the Knob often lists them.

Smashwords and Allromanceebooks both have Free sections.  Mostly shorter stories but there's lots there.  Ellorascave.com has a free section as does Kobo.  Lots of freebies right on BN.com too.

Most sites allow you to search by genre and free.  At BN, get under the section you want and in the search enter 0.00 to find the freebies.
