Our local Habitat for Humanity has always had a huge collection of wallpaper.  Not being a wallpaper type, I had never paid much attention to it.  Today there was a big sign...FREE!  I went through it and found several rolls of various widths that were not prepasted.  I will never have to look for paper to wrap books with again!!   I even got some that will be suitable for wrapping adult birthday and wedding presents.

I've used wallpaper as wrapping paper for years. If you check the discount bins you can get a roll for just a buck or two and it lasts a really long time... so much cheaper than wrapping paper!

I've used wallpaper to wrap my books for awhile, now.  It's tough stuff and pretty!  :)

The wallpaper shop next to the office sells discontinued rolls for $1.
