This is the sequel to Fields and Pastures New, but you don't need to read the first to enjoy this title. I didn't and I enjoyed each little chapter of a country veterinarian. Not really a tale from start to finish, but some good bits of farm/outdoor life. The quote from Southern Living is the best, "Uplifting, heartwarming, hilarious, His writing style, clean and uncomplicated, speeds you through the pages." A very strong recommendation!
