Have you ever seen death? Not dogs, or birds, or in the movies, or anything like that. I mean REAL death. Watching a real person take their last breath. What would it be like to die? Do you become a ghost? Do you go to heaven? Does your spirit move to another dimension?????

Three young friends are determined to find out. When one overhears his mother mention an old neighbor, and how he won't be around much longer, the boys decide to watch him to see what would happen. However, things don't always turn out the way they are supposed to. The boys begin to learn things; about the old man, and themselves. And the old man is a surprise, too.....

Though the theme may seem a little morbid, and the story begins darkly, it quickly lightens up and turns out to be a good tale of growth and discovery. Parents may want to be ready to answer some questions from some of the younger readers.
