As always, Jan Brett gives us another wonderful children's book! Fritz may not be a "beautiful horse" but he's sure-footed and willing to work. A sure-fire story for those children who are feeling a little on the outside.

What a lovely book for children. It is the story of Fritz, the little unglamorous pony who lives outside a city filled with very beautiful horses. A simple story, well crafted with beautiful illustrations. This book helps show children that beauty is not always on the outside, and sometimes what is beautiful is not what is best.
Highly recommended because the illustrations are nicely done and the story itself is quick and engaging for even the fussiest listener. (At least the fussiest listener in my house!)
