I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, young or old. It is one of the greatest books I have ever read! It made me laugh, it made me cry, and I just didn't want it to end! A wonderful story!!!

"In this warm and joyous book, (the author), for over 20 years the only lady ranger in California's Big Basin Redwood Park, tells the story of life with an orphan raccoon named Frosty, an impish, intelligent and irresistibly charming creature of the wilds."

Recommended Reading for Young Adults & Animal Lovers. Reminds me of the stories from Sunday Nights at home with the family watching "The Wonderful World of Disney." An example: Frosty would steal the author's soap when she was taking a bath. Then he would take it to a corner and start to chew on it and after a while he would get the hiccups.
