A truly wonderfull book of recipes from the old country immigarnts. Collected by The Frugal Gourmet. Keep a napkin handy so you don't drool on the book as you read it. Besides the recipes there are numerous tips plus a compendium of cooking utensils and exotic spices that may not be familiar to you.

No Italian section!!! I got the book to find my Grandmother's recipes and there isn't ONE Italian recipe in this book.
