Ok, I'm tired!  Been searching for over 2 hours now (2 hours total) for books on Animals, Amphibians, etc.  I bought my daughter a little book on Dogs which was 500 pages but only about 5"x5" and it's packed so we can't look up the name of it.  Anywho, it's White and of course has pictures of dogs on the front.

Can anyone figure out my current "Brain Fart" and Help me?!!!  I've searched so much that my eyeballs are in agony.

Thank you (in advance)!!

Dawn--

When you say "pictures", do you mean photographs?  Publisher Dorling Kindersley puts out a lot of thick little books with photographs rather than illustrations, including one on dogs.  Their layout is fairly recognizable:  http://www.dorlingkindersley-uk.co.uk/nf/Book/BookDisplay/0,,9780751327519,00.html

Otherwise, if you can provide more details, that might help jog someone's memory.  Or if you're just looking for a recommendation, what do you need -- what age level, do you just want to learn about them or identify them, etc.

Cheers,

Catt

Hi Catt,

Thanks for the link and the Help.  That is pretty much what I was looking for.  Do you know if those books come in a "normal" size?  I really dont like the small books because they are difficult to maneuver.

Anyway, I was trying to be crafty and get 2 or more of the series as a Boxer, to save money on shipping, etc.  This B.O.B. stuff is VERY ADDICTING!!!  hehe

Thanks again,

Dawn

Dawn--

Many Dorling Kindersley books are "normal" size, although they all tend to be thick and heavy, as they use photographs on glossy paper.

Cheers,

Catt
