Hi all just started riding the bus again due to a move, and am looooooving the extra time to read!

I'm looking for funny romances to read while on the bus.  Love Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie and The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox.

I love lots of genres, so doesn't have to be only contemporary or only paranormal :) Thanks!

Mary Connealy has some really fun stuff.  She is catagorized as a Christian writer but I have never found her to be preachy.  Try the lassoed in Texas series.  The second one is hilarious.

Also all the books by Jennifer Crusie are really funny IMHO.  I loved Fast Women, Anyone but You and Welcome to Temptation.

ETA:  If you haven't read the sookie stackhouse books you should think about them seriously.  I always have wondered by people don't talk more about the funny stuff in them.

I second anything by Jennifer Crusie! Bridal Favors and Bridal Season by Connie Brockway are among my favorite funny historicals. Match me if you Can, Susan Elizabeth Phillips - Lots of her books are very funny.

I'll 2nd the SEP rec.  Nobody's Baby But Mine kept me laughing while crossing mountain passes in a snowstorm-really.

Lyndsay Sands! Her books always crack me up. She writes both historicals and paranormals.

Karen Hawkins is pretty funny and she's got an extensive backlist. Julia Quinn is also pretty funny.

I agree about Rachel Gibson. Her books are sexy and funny all at the same time.

My favorite laugh out loud books:

Open Season by Linda Howard

Can You Keep a Secret by Sophie Kinsella

Practice makes perfect by Julie James

Just the Sexiest Man alive by Julie James

Susan Elizabeth Phillips' Chicago stars series -it begins with- It had to be you

I also really liked Bet Me!
