G. Clifton Wisler (born 1950) is the author of more than sixty-three books, many of them are historical fiction for young adults. Wisler lives in Plano, Texas in the United States, where he continues to work on his doctoral dissertation on the history of the Ninth Texas Infantry Regiment in the American Civil War.
