FYI - I've pulled these out of circulation from my class. At the begining of the year I asked my students what kind of books they wanted me to stock in my class library. Our school does participate in the Accelerated Reader program and I push reading. The Boxcar Children was one series that was requested. I went out and picked up some books - mostly from my friendly book lady at the local swapmeet :) The books sadly sat on the shelf. I'm slowly clearing away my shelves to stock up on lower level reading books in anticipation for next year' assignment.
All the books have been labeled - you know us teachers always saying "the first thing you do is put your name on your paper". The way I label my book is with a Avery 5160 label. My last name, room number, the AR level, AR point value, and quiz number are also printed/handwritten in. I then cover the label with a piece of mailing tape. I place these on the front lower cover near the spine. Removing the label would damage the book. However, simply placing a new label over the old one would work. If your school utilizes the AR program the book information is already there - no need spend the additional time looking up that information.
All books are in good condition and I would place them out for my students in a heartbeat if there was interest.. I'm asking 1 credit for all 12 - 10 books with 2 duplicates.
#1 The Boxcar Children
#2 Suprise Island
#3 The Yellow House Mystery (x2 - one is just "newer")
#13 Snowbound Mystery (x2 - triangle tear out of front cover - B in snowbound missing and other copy had last name inside cover, heavly creased cover)
#18 Bus Station Mystery
#36 The Castle Mystery - label inside stating donation to library
#39 The Ghost Ship Mystery - name "woodside" on cover page
#62 The Mystery of the Lake Monster
#83 The Copycat Mystery
#91 The Mystery at Skeleton Point
