This is a wonderful series if you like British Whodunits. This book, GAME OVER, is the latest in the series. The main character, Bill Slider, comes across with a mix of toughness and sensitivity. Harrod-Eagles writes terrific crime novels, meshing fully realized characters with multilevel plot lines. The result is a pleasing combination of puzzle mystery and police procedural. All in all a very good read!!
