I never thought it would happen! It's Five Patients, not Jurassic Park, but still...

I liked it too!  :-)

And the one under the water, whose name I can't remember at the moment.  And The Great Train Robbery!

I just had a book that I posted in 8/07 requested.  I think there are 26 other copies out there so I was shocked because of course we have no clue where we are in the FIFO line!

I just had a book requested from my shelf that was one of the original ones I posted.  I must have finally worked up to the top of that list!

I posted a Johanna Lindsay book the other day that I haven't read yet. There's over 100 in the system. I wanted it to start it's climb up the FIFO ladder.

I just had a book that I listed in June '06 requested and neverthought it would happen.  I am in the process of weeding almost all of the books that have been on my sheld for 16-18 mo. or more and sending  them to "Operation Paperback" that sends PB's to trpp[s deployed abroad.  If you have a bunch of "oldies but goodies" that are in very long supply here at PBS, that's a good place for them.  Send with regular Media Mail postage---only extra thing is you have to fill out a very easy customs form.  If you want more specifics about this, send me note.

I just had a Stephen King book requested- Cell.. I liked this book but it is not a keeper since I prefer the audio book.  I was told that this author is hardly ever requested so I was surprised. Just in time when I thought I might need to buy a few credits.

OH I just had a James Patterson book requested also, weird!

I agree Winston (Operation Paperback)....I went through and pulled out some of books that had multiple copies in the system.  very easy to send (although the PO person didn't think I could send it media mail until she put it in the computer) and it supports our troops
