Just a reminder that we will start Genghis by Conn Iggulden on April 1st.   As before we will quarter the book as to avoid spoilers.

I have heard good things about this book.

Thanks for the reminder!  I have WOLF OF THE PLAINS by Conn Iggulden.  I've been told that it is the same book, only a different title.  The first sentence in the prologue is .......The snow was blinding as the Mongol archers encircled the Tartar raiding party.  Can someone please verify this?  Thanks!

Thanks Bonnie!  This looks like an "action packed" read.

Yeah Anna I don't know how I'm going to close my eyes and read at the same time! I'm very squeamish with gore!

I'm really looking forward to this.  I might start a little late, though.  I'll finish The Weed that Strings the Hangman's Bag then probably have to fit in a swap book before I start Genghis.

I'm looking forward to this book as well.  It's been a while since I participated in a read-along so it will be great to have something to get me past the post vacation blues.  See ya all in a week or so!

Lori,  That is the beauty of the read along being quartered I think.   You can go at your own pace, and avoid spoilers.
