From the back cover:
"George Mueller, a rebellious young man totally absorbed in the world and its pleasures - a young man in divinity school only because his father wanted it that way - went through an amazing transformation through the power of the living Christ.
Read the exciting and challenging story of a man who then dared to dream a dream and trust God for the reality of it - orphanages to care fro the unwanted hundreds of children from Bristol's slums."
I've known of George Mueller for quite some time now, and when I told a friend of mine about him, she got this book and then let me borrow it (which before I read it, I noticed my mom had the same book. . oh well). It is about a man from Germany who was a bit of a rebellious teenager but found compelled to change his life through seeing a man humble himself before the Lord. He decided to have faith in the Lord to provide for all his needs, and to place him on the mission field. For decades this is how he survived and many lives were changed because of that faith. It was great to learn so much more about him than I had already known.
This is a true man of prayer and faith and this book really increases your faith and shows you what God will do for someone that totally trusts Him.
