I strongly enjoyed this book. Strongly recommended to those who are interested in post-apocalyptic type novels, or sci fi with a strong dose of outdoors interest. An interesting and very possible future of monotany and one's relationship with the corporation, and how that corporation deals with those who don't seem to quite fit in. Pretty tidy, I must say.

There is very little about this book that I didn't like. It had science fiction, good dialog and a George Orwell
1984-like feel.

In a 21st-century world where there is no longer any wilderness or way to test your limits, would you pay a year's salary to a company which promises to drop you in a devastated country where your very survival depends upon your skill, cunning and knowledge. What the company doesn't tell you is that you're not pitting yourself against the wilderness, you're pitting yourself against your fellow man.
