Gladdy Gold, narrator and heroine of Lakin's first book, Getting Old is Murder, is back at it, along with her memorable cronies. This time, they have formed a private detective agency and are sleuths for the blue-haired set. I liked this one even better than the first, and looking forward to the third in the series.

A fun read full of quirky characters. We should all live as long and as well as Gladdy Gold. This time she's on a bingo cruise.

Sequel to "Getting Old is Murder", but the main character seems irritating enough so that you don't have to read the first one to enjoy this one.

2nd in the series. This was an enjoyable light mystery read as the "girls" go on a Carribean cruise and end up in the midst of a series of mysterious deaths.
A fun, fast read. I live in South Florida (I'm not quite a senior) but I know several Lanai Gardens communities, , and several characters just like Gladys and her friends. If you are looking for a quick, fun read try this series.
