Gladdy Gold, narrator and heroine of Lakin's first book, Getting Old is Murder, is back at it, along with her memorable cronies. This time, they have formed a private detective agency and are sleuths for the blue-haired set. I liked this one even better than the first, and looking forward to the third in the series.
I get the biggest kick out of the characters in the books in this series. This is the second one I've read and I loved both of them.
2nd in series. I loved this book, these "girls" are a real hoot!
A fun read full of quirky characters. We should all live as long and as well as Gladdy Gold. This time she's on a bingo cruise.
Sequel to "Getting Old is Murder", but the main character seems irritating enough so that you don't have to read the first one to enjoy this one.
