Author Marcia Mitchell has prepared a thoughtful, biblical guide to help women identify their interests, gifts and skills, and then find out how to utilize these as a servant of God and of other people.
The author is concerned about the many unhappy, unsatisfied women who are 'just doing a job' in the church because they've been asked to do it or because 'somebody has to do it.' She is convinced it need not remain this way.
Each of the seven motivational gifts listed in Romans 12:6-8 is given an in-depth look with practical application in a contemporary setting. Self-evaluation guides ae provided to help each reader recognize her own spiritual gifts, and guidelines are provided to help apply this new realization toward specific areas of Christian service."
