I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a fast read and had some great insights 'Into the heart of Lesbian America.' It confirmed a lot of what I believe. The author's humor is also very good & I found myself laughing at different intervals. Even though written in the 1990's, a lot of what the authors have written about is very timely. I definitely recommend this book.
This is a very interesting and often humorous look at different issues, events, and concerns that make the lesbian community in the US what it is. Though this book was written over 10 years ago, so specific details may change, a lot of the broad themes are still every bit as applicable today (PROCESSING! OH GODS!). One of the blurbs on the back cover declares it a "state-of-the-community book" and I think that's a pretty good description. Very enjoyable!
