I thought there was a thread some time back about H/or/H who wear glasses but I couldn't find it. If anyone is keeping a personal log for this, the heroine of the last book I read, THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN by Marion Chesney wears glasses and copes clumsily with non wearing them because ladies of the ton shouldn't. Okay if you walk into things and look like a dreamy nitwit because you can't see who or what is in front of you. Delightful story in all ways.

The book I'm reading now, Metzger's LADY SPARROW, is soooo good, a bit more serious than some of the funny Regencies she's written - the hero, the hunky 2nd son of a duke, wears glasses and can't see for squat without them.

Lynsay Sands has one as well, called Love is Blind and it was pretty funny. I still crack up over the burning wig incident.

I keep a shelf at GoodReads called sexy-brainy-specs... the name inspired by David Tennant. :-)

You guys didn't hear about this? HarperCollins announced that libraries would only be able to loan out their new ebooks 26 times, then they'll expire.

Jeez, that doesn't make any sense, Willa. What's their rationale behind this decision? Bet it doesn't make sense.

Love is Blind was a good one.

Willa - Harper Collins - even worse with the 26 times is that I beleive I read also a cerain amount of time only, and if you borrow and read one right away, you can't return it early, it;s yours for the entire lending time, 2 weeks I think, so it ends up being a lot less than 26 times.  Geez why bother at all.

I think its in The Paid Companion that Amanda Quick has the Heroine in specs.  She has the Hero in them in The Afffair
